CABLE TV brings Hong Kong viewers over 200 live Bundesliga matches per season

(Hong Kong, 14 March 2018) CABLE TV announces its appointment as the Official Host Broadcaster and the Official Partner of the 2018 Cathay Pacific/ HSBC Hong Kong Sevens (Hong Kong Sevens). During the game period, from 6 to 8 April 2018, on-site coverage of the tournament from Hong Kong Stadium and all programming will be produced by i-CABLE Sports. All games will be available on TV, i-CABLE's website (www.i-cable.com) and the i-CABLE mobile app, offering the most comprehensive multiple-platform broadcasting service.

All Hong Kong Sevens matches will be carried live and telecast on CABLE TV, delivering with professional Cantonese-English bilingual commentary for viewers, coupled with a programme of daily highlights. CABLE TV subscribers using the high-definition decoder box 'FanHub' are able to review all Hong Kong Sevens programmes and catch-up of respective matches through the video-on-demand service anytime at their convenience.

i-CABLE mobile app will make live games available to designated CABLE TV viewers, enable them to enjoy CABLE Sports coverage through mobile devices. Web-surfers can also watch extensive live rugby actions and access to the game archives for free via the i-CABLE website (www.i-cable.com).

Fantastic TV, the free television channel (Channel no. 77) will also deliver programmes of the tournament. Further information will be announced accordingly.

Running up to the Hong Kong Sevens, a four-episode lead-in show 'Hong Kong Sevens Special' will go on air at 10:30pm every Thursday on Channel hd202 (Channel No. 202) and CABLE Sports Channel (Channel No. 62), starting from 15 March to 5 April 2018.
